Can I have two accounts on RecoHero?

You cannot have two customer accounts on RecoHero. Any duplication will be blocked or deleted by our team, for personal security purposes. You can however have a customer account and an advisor account (know more: https://about.recohero.com/recommend) to access both services on RecoHero.

 

Can I edit my personal information?

Yes, you can edit any information previously informed. Go to “Account” – “Account details”, “Addresses” and “Payment methods” to edit any information. If you have any issues, please feel free to contact our customer support team at support@recohero.com.

 

What can I view/edit on my account?

You have access to all your personal information in your account, such as:

– Orders summary
– Billing and shipping addresses
– Payment methods (if any)
– Account details

You are able to edit information such as your login details, your phone number, your payment methods, your preferred shipping address and many more.

When will my welcome gift voucher be credited to my account?

When you sign up, your €5 gift voucher will be credited automatically and usable on your next purchase on RecoHero. Should you have any issues, or cannot apply the discount to your order, please feel free to contact our team at support@recohero.com.

 

Can I delete my account?

We are sorry to see you go! Simply send a message with your request to our team via the Support or via email at support@recohero.com. Your account will be deleted and you will lose all your previously earned gift vouchers.

What payment methods can I use?

You have the choice between two payment methods : either PayPal or Stripe, two of the world’s most secured third party payment solutions. All your data and payments information online are protected and encrypted all the way. RecoHero does not retain your payment information.

 

Are all transactions secured on RecoHero?

All payments are encrypted, thanks to PayPal and Stripe, two of the world’s most secured third party payment solutions. Moreover, we use SSL on all our websites to protect all your personal information and payments.

 

How can I add and manage my payment methods?

Simply go to “Account” – “Payment methods”. You can add a new card or delete any card though Stripe. At checkout, you can either choose to either use a card previously added, pay using a new credit card or pay with your PayPal account.

 

How will I be able to pay using a gift voucher?

You’ll receive an email when signing up to RecoHero regarding the €5 gift voucher credited to your account. Click on it to automatically reduce the checkout price at checkout. Sign up now to receive your free 5€ welcome gift voucher (www.recohero.com/myaccount).

 

How will I be able to add or edit my billing address?

You can easily change your billing address in “Account” – “Addresses”.

 

What will happen in case my payment method is declined?

If a payment is declined, the order will not be considered as validated, and the order price will not be deducted from your bank account. You’ll be invited to use another payment method in order to proceed with the payment.

How can I order products on RecoHero?

Ordering a product on RecoHero is very intuitive and user-friendly. After reviewing the products in your cart, you are able to inform the minimum required information (such as shipping address and payment method). You are just a few clicks away from validating your order.

 

What information is displayed before making an order?

Before making an order, you’ll be able to review your cart’s content. All the product’s information (such as characteristics and description), the delivery’s term and costs (if any), the product’s price (including VAT, if applicable) and previous customers’ reviews will all be displayed on RecoHero.

 

How can I add/remove products in my cart before making an order?

You can add/remove a product in your cart in only one click. Products and their prices are clearly displayed in the cart, for you to make sure that what you get is what you pay for when validating the order.

Is it allowed to choose a different shipping address and/or billing address for each order?

Absolutely. Eventhough you have the choice to use a pre-registered address when making the order, you are also able to choose a different shipping address and/or billing address for each order you make on RecoHero.

 

Do I receive an invoice when I purchase a product?

You receive an invoice everytime you validate an order, either sent by RecoHero or by the startup selling the product. You also receive an order confirmation with details of each purchase, including total price and delivery term estimation from RecoHero after a purchase. This summary confirms your order and payment.

 

Deliveries & Returns

How can I add or edit a shipping address?

You can easily change your shipping address in “Account” – “Addresses”.

 

How do I know if a product can be delivered in my country?

The payment will only go through if the product is available for delivery in your country. If not, the error “There are no shipping methods available. Please ensure that your address has been entered correctly, or contact us if you need any help.” will be displayed in the cart and checkout pages.

 

Am I able to track my orders?

Absolutely, we ask all product providers to use a tracking delivery method. You will be able to see the delivery status and track your product after an order is validated.

 

How can I know when a product will be delivered?

Delivery terms can depend on your location. When shipment is made by the startup selling the ordered product, a tracking code and/or tracking link will be viewable in the order summary in “Account” – “Orders” – “View”. Should you need any more information, please feel free to contact our team at support@recohero.com.

 

Are the delivery costs included in the order price?

Delivery costs can be free for some products. If it’s not the case, for you not to have any bad surprises, we have made sure that the price you see in your cart is the price you’ll pay at checkout.

 

How can I return a product?

Returning a product bought on RecoHero is free and easy. Returns are available within 14 days after delivery, no questions-asked. To return a product, go to “Account” – “Orders” and click on the “Return” button for the order. In the return page, select the products you want to return. Fill in the fields and click on “Submit”. We’ll review your request and will contact you by email.

 

When will I get a refund after approval of my return?

After approval of your return, the product will either be replaced or refunded in 2 or 3 weeks (after the product has been received by the provider), whichever option you prefer.

Do I need another to create another account if I’m already signed up as a customer?

Yes, the advisor account and customer account are not linked. However, you can use the same login credentials for both accounts, to make it easier for you. If you’re already signed up as a customer, you will need to inform some further information to become an advisor. Do not worry, we will guide you through the process. Go to your “Account settings” page to view and edit your personal information, such as:

How are bonuses and discounts credited to my account?

How do I get paid?

You receive your earnings every month on your personal PayPal account. You need, when signing up as an advisor, to inform your personal PayPal account details for us to make the payments. You might be asked to send copies of your ID/proof of identity for security purposes.

 

How often do I get paid?

You will get paid every 15th of every month, according to your successful referrals in the previous month. You will receive a monthly revenue summary from RecoHero, on which will appear your referrals and earned commissions.

 

How are my earnings calculated?

Your earnings are calculated on all your successful referrals, meaning every time someone made a successful purchase on www.recohero.com after clicking on your link. You receive a 10% commission on all your successful referrals amounts (excl. VAT).

 

How do I keep track of my earnings?

As soon as you are successfully signed up as an advisor, you will have access to your own Advisor Panel, and will be able to view your successful referrals, earned commissions and payouts. RecoHero gives you access to the Advisor Panel for free.

 

Is there a limit of monthly earnings?

There are no limits whatsoever. You can drive as many sales as you want, and earn as much as you need.

 

Do I get a commission on a returned product?

If one of your referred customer decides to return a product, you will not be eligible for a commission on that same purchase.

 

Do I need to declare my revenues?

Earnings from RecoHero might be taxable depending on your country’s regulations and your personal situation. The monthly revenue summary from RecoHero will help you to keep track of your earnings and prepare your tax return to your local tax office. We strongly advise you to inquire about all regulations, and make the appropriate declarations.
